Preparations Continue Taking Place for the Avian Flu – READING BETWEEN THE LINES

READING BETWEEN THE LINES

July 11 2024

In  Dark Foots steps towards the next PLANDEMIC.  The world controllers have to show us what they are doing and their intention; we demonstrated with a timeline of reports, on how the world controllers have been making inroads with warnings, by issuing subtle and casually reports to seep into the mainstream media to effect human and wildlife psyche, preparing the field for their next EVIL plan of destruction. They are hoping to take us by surprise waiting for us, once again,  to capitulate to their sick demands. We must not allow this to happen or WILL we the PEOPLE accept, go back to sleep or will we stand up and fight?
Remember our indolence brought us to where we are now.

“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, we’re afraid!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, We will fall!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
And so they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.

Why Finland and others are vaccinating people against bird flu

The virus is spreading undetected in mammals
Jul 5th 2024

Information on Bird Flu | Avian Influenza (Flu)

“WORKERS AT POULTRY and fur farms in Finland will, in the coming days, receive vaccines against bird flu. Fourteen other EU countries have signed up to procure bird-flu vaccines through a programme set up by the European Commission. America’s government has also bought vaccines in anticipation of a pandemic. And it recently commissioned Moderna, a pharmaceutical company, to create an mRNA bird-flu vaccine using a technology that was effective in protecting against covid-19. So why are countries vaccinating people against bird flu?

The illness is also called avian flu or highly pathogenic avian influenza. The usual carriers are wild waterfowl; when these birds migrate, so does the virus. It is easily transmitted to domestic poultry and is highly contagious and deadly for them. Usually it is rare for bird flu to infect mammals, including humans. But the strain of the virus that is currently circulating, H5N1, has infected hundreds of mammals. This spring it was found in dairy cows in Texas. It has since been found in dairy herds in at least 12 American states. With each mammal that is infected, there is a possibility that the virus mutates, allowing it to jump to humans more easily.”

Avian flu: increased vigilance recommended

“Avian influenza viruses continue to circulate, albeit at low levels, among wild bird populations across the European Union and the European Economic Area (EU/EEA).

In the United States, transmission of highly pathogenic avian influenza HPAI A(H5N1) viruses has recently been observed in dairy cattle and four cases of human avian influenza have been reported among farm workers exposed to cattle since April 2024.

Whilst transmission from infected animals to humans remains a rare event, avian influenza viruses can spill over to wild, farm and domestic animals, leading to infection and outbreaks in poultry, and occasionally in mammals.

“As we closely monitor the current situation on avian influenza, both in the EU and globally, there is reason for increased awareness but not for increased concern. ECDC remains committed in our support of the actions taken by national authorities in EU Member States. This threat to human health should not be underestimated, and it is important that we stay alert and proactive in our joint collaboration.” says Pamela Rendi-Wagner, Director of ECDC.

“While currently no infection with the avian influenza A(H5N1) virus in humans has been recorded in the EU/EEA, ECDC advises on the importance of continuing to raise awareness among healthcare professionals, both at primary and secondary care level, regarding the possibility of encountering human cases of infection.

“…ECDC has been taking numerous initiatives to address the potential threat of avian influenza for human health and has produced several guidance documents and reports in recent months on testing of exposed individuals, on surveillance, outbreak investigation and public health options for response.

“… ECDC recommends lowering the threshold for testing for avian influenza in humans, including using a risk-based approach for exposed asymptomatic individuals. We also recommend testing for influenza all cases hospitalised due to symptoms compatible with avian influenza….  Biosafety and personal protective measures in place at occupational and recreational sites with an increased risk of avian influenza remain crucial to minimise the risk of spillover events to humans. These protective measures should be complied with to the greatest extent possible…

…ECDC also offers EU centralised testing and further characterisation for human specimens known or suspected to contain an avian influenza virus.

In addition to its national partners in the EU and EEA, ECDC continues to closely monitor avian influenza in the EU and globally together with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and in close collaboration with other relevant EU agencies such as the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the European Agency for Safety and Health Work (EU OSHA) as well as international organisations such as the WHO and major CDCs.

ECDC is committed to maintaining high vigilance to ensure the safety of the public regarding the risk to humans of avian influenza and will continue to provide updates and guidance as needed and according to the epidemiological situation.”

Europe urged to prepare for next avian flu season

July 10, 2024 by Jackie Linden

“European Food Safety Authority reports that the number of cases in the region’s wild birds and poultry so far in 2023-2024 has been the lowest since 2019-2020.”

These are also the first cases affected by this virus variant in Europe this year, based on details recorded by the Animal Disease Information System from the European Commission (as of July 3).

Positive tests for an H7 virus contrasts with different variants of the H5 virus family, which have been detected in Germany and more widely in Europe in recent years, according to the national veterinary reference laboratory, Friedrich-Loeffler Institute (FLI).

Previous studies there indicate the new variant likely emerged as the result of a mutation of a previously existing low-pathogenic avian influenza virus….“

Bird flu could become a human pandemic. How are countries preparing?

This virus in its current state does not look like it has the characteristics of causing a pandemic. But with influenza viruses, that equation could entirely change with a single mutation,” says Scott Hensley, an immunologist at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia..

…In May, the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, initiated a review of available influenza candidate vaccines, and confirmed that they would work against the H5N1 virus circulating in cattle. “Although the current public health risk is low, WHO is operating in a constant state of readiness for a potential influenza pandemic,” says Maria Van Kerkhove, who heads epidemic and pandemic preparedness and prevention at the WHO….”

Last month, the European Commission purchased roughly 700,000 doses of a flu vaccine manufactured by CSL Seqirus, in Maidenhead, UK, with the option to buy another 40 million. The vaccine protects against H5 strains of influenza A. Also in June, Finland began vaccinating people against avian influenza, focusing on high-risk workers at fur and poultry farms.

H5N1 avian flu could cause a human pandemic

Jul 17th 2024

“So far, there is no evidence the virus has adapted to spread between humans, a prerequisite for a flu pandemic. But things can change quickly—the more the virus circulates in animals that come in close contact with humans, the bigger the risk that a pandemic strain will emerge….”

Avian Flu Threat: India Holds High-Level Meeting

Jul 17, 2024, By Rediff Money Desk, New Delhi

“Experts pitched for intensified surveillance and improved coordination to combat avian influenza at a high-level meeting convened by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying on Tuesday….The meeting underscored the urgency of addressing the avian influenza challenge, particularly in light of recent outbreaks that have highlighted the disease’s potential to cross species barrier..”

Two large US investments in human vaccines for avian influenza A(H5N1) are aimed at boosting US readiness in the case of a pandemic.

Last week, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, announced it will pay Moderna $176 million to develop an mRNA-based pandemic influenza vaccine

The announcement came weeks after the government ordered 4.8 million doses of a pre-pandemic cell-based vaccine, well matched to the currently circulating H5N1 strain, according to the manufacturer, CSL Seqirus. The doses are expected to be available next week for the US National Pre-Pandemic Influenza Vaccine Stockpile.

The cell-based vaccine would need to be approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before any potential distribution….”

“..But in the CDC’s most recent update, the agency said, “This is a rapidly changing situation” and posted interim recommendations for prevention, monitoring, and public health investigations of avian flu virus infections in people….”
